Can you conduct training on our company's premises?
Your venue or ours
We offer open courses (public events) in Cape Town, Gauteng and KZN.
We also offer group on-site training in Cape Town, Gauteng and KZN and our facilitators will travel to the other main city centres to accommodate your specific requirements (including, but not limited to: Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth, East London, Upington, Kimberley and George).

How can we pay for the training?
Electronic Bank Transfers are the preferred method of payment for all training courses.
How do I buy and enroll for an online course once I have registered?
Step 1: Login to the site using your username and password.
Step 2: Click on "Training Courses" at the top of the page.
Step 3: Click on the desired course you wish to buy and enroll for.
Step 4: Click the red "Buy Now" button.
Step 5: Go through the payment process (if you have a coupon code, enter this here).
Step 6: Once this is complete, we will approve your enrollment.
Step 7: Start expanding your mind and enjoy the course.
How do I know if my booking form has been received?
You will receive a booking confirmation email as soon as we have received your booking.
We will then be in contact with you within 2 working days with more course information.
How do I make a booking?
In order to make a booking, simply browse through our courses and decide which one you would like to book. Click on the "register" button to book a course or on the "send enquiry" button to find out more. Alternatively, contact us for more information.
How do I make a complaint?
If you would like to make a complaint about any of our services please feel free to contact us with your comments and we will reply to you within 48 hours.
How do I register for an online course?
Step 1: Navigate to the Palomino Training Solutions LMS site.
Step 2: Click on the red "Register Here" button.
Step 3: Enter the relevant information, agree to the terms and conditions and click the red "Register" button.
Step 4: You will receive an e-mail to verify your account, click on the link and verify your account.
Step 5: Login using your username and password.
Step 6: Proceed to buy and enroll for the specific course you require.
How long does a refund take?
If Palomino Training Solutions has received 10 days written notice, the 50% refund will be processed within 3 - 5 working days.
Is Palomino Training Solutions SETA accredited?
Palomino Training Solutions is an accredited training provider with the Services SETA (no: 2169).
What are Palomino Training Solutions' payment terms?
- A non-refundable 50% deposit is required upon registration.
- Course registrations cannot be confirmed unless this deposit has been received.
- The remainder 50% is due on 2 weeks before the course dates.
- Palomino Training Solutions reserves the right to refuse admission where evidence of payment in full cannot be shown.
What is Palomino Training Solutions' cancellation policy?
To cancel a booking, you must notify Palomino Training Solutions in writing at least 10 working days before the course date and we will refund you the course fee less the 50% non-refundable deposit.
If you cancel less than 10 working days prior to the course, no refund can be given but a substitute delegate may be sent.
Unfortunately, no refunds or credits can be given to delegates who do not attend.
What is the purpose of the Skills Development Act?
The purposes of the Skills Development Act are
- to develop the skills of the South African workforce-
- to improve the quality of life of workers, their prospects of work and labour mobility;
- to improve productivity in the workplace and the competitiveness of employers;
- to promote self-employment; and
- to improve the delivery of social services;
- to increase the levels of investment in education and training in the labour market and to improve the return on that investment;
- to encourage employers-
- to use the workplace as an active learning environment;
- to provide employees with the opportunities to acquire new skills;
- to provide opportunities for new entrants to the labour market to gain work experience; and
- to employ persons who find it difficult to be employed;
- to encourage workers to participate in learning programmes;
- to improve the employment prospects of persons previously disadvantaged by unfair discrimination and to redress those disadvantages through training and education;
- to ensure the quality of learning in and for the workplace;
- to assist-
- work-seekers to find work;
- retrenched workers to re-enter the labour market;
- employers to find qualified employees; and h)to provide and regulate employment services.
Those purposes are to be achieved through
- an institutional and financial framework comprising-
- the National Skills Authority;
- the National Skills Fund;
- a skills development levy-financing scheme as contemplated in the Skills Development Levies Act;
- SETAs;
- provincial offices of the Department;
- labour centres of the Department;
- accredited trade test centres;
- skills development institutes;
- the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations;
- a skills development forum for each province;
- a national artisan moderation body;
- and Productivity South Africa;
- encouraging partnerships between the public and private sectors of the economy to provide learning in and for the workplace; and
- co-operating with the South African Qualifications Authority.
